About Sixteen Costa Rica
Located:
We are located on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in the heart of Costa Rica’s Blue Zone.
Set on its own peninsula, Sixteen is surrounded by incredible ocean views and untouched beaches.
Located approximately a 1 hour 45 minute drive from the Liberia airport and about a 3.5 hour drive and a ferry away from the San Jose airport.
Conveniently located 5 minutes from the dock of the Puntarenas – Playa Naranjo ferry.

Wildlife:

In total Costa Rica harbours 210 species of mammals, around 900 species of birds, 218 of reptiles, and over 35,000 species of insects. The huge diversity of animal species is due to the fact that Costa Rica sits on a narrow land bridge between North and South America. The land gap closed around 3 million years ago and has become a convergence zone of migrating animals from both hemispheres.
